ALL THE BEAUTY IN THIS WHOLE LIFE

All The Beauty In This Whole Life.jpg

In summer of 2014, Brother Ali’s search for spiritual healing and development led him to the Bay area where several of America’s prominent Muslim teachers gathered around the USA’s first accredited Islamic college. As fate would have it, Ant was there on a spiritual and musical journey of his own. Ali’s studies took him around the Muslim world where he discovered the axiom “Beauty is the splendor of Truth”. The album’s lyrics span topics from spiritual connection (Own Light, Can’t Take That Away), suicide (Out of Here), white supremacy (Before They Called You White), porn addiction (The Bitten Apple), and police violence toward Black men (Dear Black Son).
