If you’re involved in the Twin Cities Hip Hop scene then these brothers need no introduction. M.anifest is one of those cats I heard about for years but never see. My man, Ashanti (who’s like a younger cousin to me) kept telling me about his roommate from Ghana who could rhyme. You know everyone’s got a friend that raps so I filled it under “who gives a shit?”. That is, until I was at a show at 7th Street entry where a gang of dudes were passing the mic around on stage. Out of nowhere this guy stepped out and changed the whole mood in the room.
I became a fan of the artist and the person. He’s one of them dudes that makes you smile and you can’t help but want him to win. He hooked up with his partner, Krukid -also talented as hell- and they made an album as A.R.M. (African Rebel Movement). Guys were kind enough to invite me on this song. We shot the video in the park with the director standing in the fountain to get the shots.
Keep your eye on these cats cause they’re equal parts talented, hungry and driven.

“When life gave me lemons – I squeeze lemonade” – amazing music. I want to listen it again & again!
These three represent everything that is great about underground hip-hop… better not drop your album at the same time B.Ali, you’d be in for some competition to be sure
