Rhymesayers threw a Benefit Concert at First Avenue in Minneapolis Tuesday night for the people of Haiti. With the support of artists like Sage Francis, B.Dolan, I Self Devine, Toki Wright, Muja Messiah, St. Paul Slim, Sims, BK One, King Otto and Kevin Beachum and the community in The Twin Cities, we were able to raise over $30,000 for Haitian relief. My brother, Freeway was snowed in at the Philly airport and couldn’t make it but Psalm One drove up from Chicago to make a surprise appearance. It was a great night and we want to thank everyone who performed, planned, worked and attended the show.
